Easter Saturday - Letting Dreams Die // Anna Hellebronth

Four years ago, I was in an Easter Saturday season...

I had put everything into a dream I knew God had spoken about for years, only to have door after door slammed in my face. In the end, I let my dream die before Him. It was devastating. I didn’t know what to do next. I felt like I’d wasted so much time.

How must it have felt for the disciples, putting themselves on the line, leaving everything behind to follow this man, Jesus, who said He was God. Only to watch him die a horrible, human death. Easter Saturday. What now?

Letting dreams die is painful. Really painful. But anything we let die before the Lord will always be resurrected. It may look different to what it was before, but nothing and no one stays dead before Him. Nothing is wasted.
