Tour Diary 2009 // Episode 4

24 Oct 2009

The 'O My Days' Episode, following Worship Central rapper Myles around, and we get a behind the scenes look at how seriously the guys take vocal warm ups and loads more. Fresh from the last day of the first leg of the tour.

That was great guys, thanks, I need praying for in terms of songwriting , I feel strongly that God is caling me to be a Worship Leader :). God Bless !!
Another excellent WorshipCentral experience in Scotland. Thanks to Tim, Al, Ben and Nikki for a great night of worshipping. Please post the "set list" - there were some songs that were new to me that I'd like to follow up. Please also come to Scotland again for a full day of worshipping and teaching - the last one in Glasgow was excellent. Thanks again - keep doing what you do. IB
+1 for the set list, please. Can anyone remember what the hymn was? J
Hymn was "O Lord My God" aka "How Great Thou Art", led by Nikki in a girl-friendly key. Set list included Hallelujah (Ben Cantelon) Hapy Day (Tim Hughes) Because of Your Love (Al Gordon) Dance (Tim Hughes) Shackles (Mary Mary) Consuming Fire (Tim Hughes) How Great Thou Art Give Us Your Courage (Tim Hughes) Dancing Generation (Matt Redman) That's about all I can remember. There was another familiar song - we just sang the chorus last night in the first section - led by either Ben or Nikki - and I remember thinking it was pretty effective much slower than usual. Anyone remember? IB
Thanks for coming North of the border guys - we know it's a long way to travel & we appreciate it! I laughed so hard at Momentum this year when Tim tried his wee spiel about the tour and forgot the name of the town - I'm just glad you all made it! I was listening to the Momentum Talks in the office and had a wee giggle (much to the consternation of my colleagues) lol - such good times! The joy of the Lord was definitely moving at Momentum this year... Just for the attention of the admin team - "Dunfermline" has fallen victim to a typo on your tour diary video... God blesses, xXx
Just to clarify, I've become Myles personal interpreter. 'Sick' could also mean - amazing, fantastic, wonderful or wow! Take your pick!
Tim
lol - Did you have a translator to help you on your Scottish leg of the tour? Somone should have introduced Myles to a couple of more local expressions such as: Pureamazin! (This is incredibly amazing!) Puredeadbriwiant! (This is absolutely brilliant!) Fandabydozy! (Fantastic!) Ya beezer! / ya belter! (Isn't one lucky? This is all rather splendid...) Great fun for someone of such a verbal nature! Myles could come up and run some MCing workshops in Glasgow so we could try to introduce more rap into worship in Scottish churches, but locals here may just mistake it for 'the patter' (as we say everything at twice the speed anyway...) xXx
IB- that was the one I was wanting to know thw title of, it included the lyrics; "You are my rock when I fall down". Your love is the anchor". Is that the you meant, they broke out singing it and the cong really responded to it. Thaks BT
I've just found the title "Faithul One", I don't know who wrote the origianal, but Robin Mark has a version on You Tube.
