15MAR08 GUESTBOOK
Over 2,300 people crammed into Central Hall for an awesome day, here's what happened
Our first ever day together at Central Hall, Westminster, right across from Westminster Cathedral and the Houses of Parliment.
1000 // Doors opened // They building staff said they'd never seen that many people at an event there. It was crazy. We eventually got everyone in!
1100 // Morning Celebration // Matt Redman led worship, Tim spoke and then we had a great time of ministry.
1330 // The Songwriters Lunch // Matt & Al shared a packed lunch (Al went for the cheese sandwich, crisps and tea) and chatted about Matt's songs and songwriting. Look out for the video of this on the site soon.
1430 // Workshops:
Encounter // The Son // The Bishop of Durham and leading theologian Tom NT Wright made us think again about Jesus.
Equip // Leading Worship // Tim & Al looked at the nine questions you need to ask yourself as you prepare to lead, lead and afterwards.
Empower // The Inspired Leader // Mike P led a session on stepping out in leadership. He also pulled a classic stunt on the boys next door.
1600 // Workshops Repeated
1700 // Survivor Lounge // About 800 people crammed into the downstairs seminar venues for a time of worship led by Brenton and his band, followed by teaching by Andrew Wilson
1830 // Evening Celebration // Tim and Beth Coulson led worship, followed by an impromtu time of ministry led by Mike Pilavachi, during which he managed to squeeze in his talk. It was an amazing time. The evening closed with a time of celebration led by Al.
The event sold out completely two weeks before the day, and we're really recommending you book in now for the July 12th event.

I made the mistake of waiting to book my tickets and now they have all gone!
Is there anywhere where people who may have booked but can no longer go may give away there tickets?
Won't be making that mistake again!

08Mar08Fantastic day. Thanks to Mike P for not just going ahead with his planned talk, but being willing to give God space to work in power. Also Tim & Al - great to have some teaching about after leading worship as well as the traditional "preparation" and "during" phases. Thanks.
Chris

16Mar08This was an amazing event - the breakout session were brilliant and inspiring, but nothing compared to the spirit filled worship that pierced hearts and minds and brought closeness to our glorious Father. Regardless of any cultural divides, individual musical ability, or church background/denomination, a passion for Jesus was stirred up that transcended all of these things to enable a meeting with God that was mind-blowing, astounding and transforming. Worship starts and ends with God, without that realization, all we have is music.
Thank you to everyone who made such an event possible.

16Mar08Was a truly amazing day. Was so blessed and I echo the comments of Chris about Mike listening to God's calling rather than sticking to the planned agenda, no matter how good that may be. We all to often plan as though worship is our agenda rather than God's. Thanks to all for a great day. Ian

16Mar08Great day! I enjoyed the morning session, but felt a bit hot and uncomfortable which was distracting, but really came alive in the afternoon. Really enjoyed Mike Pilavachi's session and the worship leading session.
Evening meeting: amazing! The worship time was fantastic. The band were great - I especially enjoyed Beth Rowley's leading. I'm still trying to understand what happened after, but I felt an amazing combination of sorrow, then peace, then joy - it was so clear God was moving and touching people in incredible ways. One of our team is a young lad I am mentoring and it was just amazing seeing him released in worship and being touched by the Holy Spirit. Thank you, Jesus! More of you, Lord, please!
Thanks Tim, Al and all the team. Brilliant!
