Of the songs I've posted so far this is the only one I've actually used in church; the chorus has had good feed back but I still think the song needs work.

It based around psalm 102

Capo 4

G
Hear my prayer O Lord
Em_________C___________G
___Turn Your ear to hear my cry
G
Do not hide Your face
Em_______C______________G
___When I call, please answer me Lord

Bridge:
Em_______________D
__My days are like the evening shadow
Em______________D
__My heart withers like the grass
Em____________D
__My hope's secure for on Christ
Cmaj7__________D
__The solid rock I stand

Chorus:
G____________________________D______________C
You never change, You never fade You're always the same
G____________________________D______________C
You never change, You never fade You're always the same
G ____________________D
You sit enthroned, Your forever renown
______Em___________D
You will, rise with compassion
____G_________________D
The nations will fear, world leaders revere
Em__________________D

Great psalm, you've done an excellent job in the verse
and the bridge really works up to the chorus,
perhaps there's scope for focussing the chorus a little more?
sometimes saying less, says a great deal more
and sometimes saying less leaves too much left unsaid!

Thanks for the comments; I have wondered whether the chorus should really be part of another song as it feels a little disconnected from the verse and bridge although the most of the words are still from the psalm - I don't know what others think about this
