Brand new song. Wrote it today. I've been fascinated for some time with the idea of Jesus being both the sacrifice AND the High Priest. Sorry for the echo chamber sound. It was recorded on my iPod in my church with just me and the piano.

I love the contrast in the theme of Jesus being both sacrifice and high priest - that's a really fresh approach.
The only feedback I had was on the line 'You suffered once for all and won’t do it again' - I know what you mean by 'won't do it again', as in, the once for all sacrifice - but I feel using the word 'won't' could be in danger of being interpreted as 'won't because He doesn't want to' - whereas I would imagine what you're saying is that He won't because He doesn't NEED to.
Just a small point, but important to make sure our songs are really clear theologically.

Wow, Tom, good catch on "won't". The challenge there being that I either need to find another line that says essentially the same thing and ends with "again", or I need to rewrite the next line too... Still, you're right. Good catch.
im really liking this so this was the worthy is the lamb, you was talking about. apart from the line tom mentioned i prefer this to darlene zschechs song of the same name.
i do prefer this to the other song you put up apart from you saying youre changing that line.
this really works as a song that could be sung in churches.
Hopefully, I'll have a new recording by the end of the week. Tried it on Wednesday and on Sunday and the response was VERY positive. People were engaged.
Looking to change the second verse a bit by flipping the first two lines and then adjusting the lyrics, per your collective recommendations. The new verse will read (thanks in large part to my pastor):

Also, what would you guys think about changing "sacrifice" to "offering" in the chorus?
