Worship chord music IPAD App
17 replies

After managing to take all the 'W' section out of my music folder while rushing to get the songs out to play guitar for another worship leader who was latre with her song list. I was wondering if there is an Ipad app where you could load PDFs of all your music into it and then put them into a set list and then when you have finished the song flick it off the screen to the next one. Does this exist already I wasn't sure? I tried to explain this idea to one of the tech team in the pub after church and he stated why you wanna store music on an Ipad when you have an Iphone and I have Itunes on the sound desk computer. He understood when I explained I met PDFs of the chord music for songs not MP3s, bless him. But had to make a joke about me flinging the ipad of my music stand by mistake during the service.

Just a mad thought does this exist not sure?

Try OnSong - it does absolutely everything you need and so much more. Best app out there.

Thank you but does this work by saving the music to the IPad because no Wifi in church and not getting a 3g one?

It's all based on the iPad.

Yes, OnSong is just perfect for the job. I've been using it for a couple of months and every update they release just makes it better and better. I'd highly recommend it if you're tired photocopying and looking through folder after folder. Nice to go paperless. Also, the tools for transposing and emailing each set to your team saves so much time.

If you're a worship leader or musician with an iPad, this is the app you need. I'd even go as far to say this app was one of the deciding reasons I got an iPad in the first place! - It really is that good!

That is why I'm thinking of getting an Ipad. I've downloaded it onto my iphone to play with just got the Songs of the month we use off here. Is there anywhere you can load a lot of songs in one go? Also anyone wanna bless me with an Ipad. Plus said Techie in initial post is determined to find an app on Andriod now.

OK I've got Ipad now how do I load songs onto it?

Marc

I use onsong too it's quality. I manage all my chord sheets through opensong (free software) where you can transpose with a touch of a button! I load the opensong database onto onsong via itunes - you can use onsong to create set lists and transpose on the fly!

How on itunes this is what I'm not getting being really thick sorry. I have managed to loads songs from this website but they have weird file names on Onsong till I convert them to Onsong files and sometimes the chords move about so are not in the right place....

Link ipad with itunes with USB or wifi (ios5) and click on the apps tab scroll down to bottom of page (under file sharing) you will see 'onsong' click on it then 'add' then add your songs!

I have found it meself I've stopped beign thick

Sorry Chris.Thanks for your help.

Now why couldn't the guy in Bullring Apple Store Tell me about this :-/
