Who would you like to hear interviewed?
Most importantly - Any idea's for the Worship Central show down?

Hello,
I was wondering if you could possibly interview Matt Redman after Soul Survivor this year, as I hear he is coming back. Would be cool to see his thoughts on what will have happened there. And possibly interview Jamie Rodwell as he led some sessions last year, and is returning this year as well as it would be interesting to hear from a young worship leader.
As for ideas for the showdown- Al, Tim and Ben to breakdance and have the video on the forum so that we can all vote.
Hope it helps =)

for a show down, how about who can play an instrument that theyve never played the best? ie the flute, or the clarinet, the cello, the bag pipes etc.......
Did you guys record the Guitar, and the Drum and Bass tutorials form the last London event?
i think it would be really productive and helpful if we had a podcast about young worship leaders, maybe tim or al or even ben's storys of how they got into worship leading and how they dealt with the problems they faced at that age, also to lead on from that maybe how worship pastors or leaders can help guide and mentor an upcoming generation of young worshi leaders.
love god. love life. love worship
Thanks everyone for the comments. Keep them coming!! Davida, we did record the various workshops. Still working on them and hope we can release them.
Would love to hear an interview with Kim Walker Smith (!) or Brian & Jenn Johnson!
Thanks Ben for asking. That in itself is vital to the podcast being sustainable for the long haul. I don't envy you all the task so thank you for all the effort you put in as a team. Really valuable for all of us who regularly listen in.
I think it's important to keep a good balance between light and heavy, practical and theoretical. Mind you, I can't see Tim and Al ever getting too heavy ;-) (in fact, there's a brilliant showdown for you - see how long the two of them can look each other in the eye and hold a serious heavy conversation without giggling! First to giggle loses! ;-) ) ...
... so maybe it would be good to have a regular biblical focus (by a variety of people, like Radio 4's Thought for the Day) that's not just based on the interview (which I like a lot by the way) eg. 5 min exploration of a key worship verse/passage each month. Could be straight teaching, or just more thought-provoking perhaps asking more questions than stating answers?
Also, to be a bit more interactive on a regular basis, you could read out some of the Highlights from the Forum for that month. I don't have enough time to plough through it as often as I'd like. You could for instance pick out one theological point, one practical, the most amusing one etc.? I do realise though that this involves someone reading a lot of posts so may not be practical/affordable.

I LOVE the podcast :-) I find it really interesting, it got me more interested in worship. Would love to hear Beth Croft interviewed. And an Indian Leg wrestle for the showdown! :-)
Another Podcast devotee here,
I thought the interview with Graham Kendrick was great. I would love to hear Matt Redman interviewed, also perhaps some of the ex-Delirious guys on what they are up to now would be interesting. An interview with somebody involved with Audacious (band, church, conference etc) would be cool (but that may be just because I am from Audacious City Church). I know I'm just making a fairly random wish list of interviews now, but I'd also love to hear something about the new Eden projects in London and Sheffield.
Possibly a feature on the various summer conferences would be useful as we approach that season.
As for the showdowns, they do vary from radio gold (as Al would have it) to just plain confusing. I'm not sure I have any way of predicting which will be great though (for instance, the 'holding your breath' competition worked somehow despite being ostensibly dead-air, whereas the foot-race somehow didn't work for me, despite being familiar with the HTB building and lay-out). I think more quizzes would be good, they always seem to work and the listener can join in. I think for the more visual the showdown, the more important some commentary is.
My thoughts for what they are worth
Keep up the great work guys!
Richard
P.s. Anyone else find themselves routing for Al in every showdown?

the podcasts are very inspiring to the people that have limited musical talent and the tutorials are fantastic. Is there a chance to have a drum or precussion tutorial as well for those of us that need it. Overall great work and thanks for taking time out to do it, it means a lot.
