it would be good if you could post some lyrics up here.

I tried to upload an mp3, but it wouldn't let me?!? E-mail me if you want it: stevekroppmusic@gmail.com

You can find the chords here: http://stevekropp.com/@Music/_tracks/132/sheet.pdf

And the lyrics below:

We Won't be Satisified (live)
(Isaiah 29:13, Amos 5:24, Matthew 6:5-13, Luke 10:25-28, Matthew 28:19-20)

We sing the songs, we talk the talk,
we make a lot of empty noise
But now’s the time the time for action,
the time to start a revolution

Right here, right now, from our own backyard
Right here, right now, to the ends of Earth!

No! No! We won’t be satisfied
No! No! ‘til justice rolls
No! No! We won’t be satisfied
until Your Kingdom comes

What this world needs is transformation,
to be reformed from inside out
The impact made would be contagious,
if we’d embrace a simple rule

Let justice roll down like a river,
& righteousness like a mighty stream
Let love unite a generation,
to bring Your Kingdom here

PS This song is actually "done"...wrote it a couple years ago and actually won a songwriting contest for it. I was just putting it on here to share it, in case anyone wanted to use it in worship. It works well with youth!

yes im really liking this, great lyrics that are not the typical congregational kind. im loving the fact that this song is different, it stands out.

the lyrics remind me of hillsong united, this is a very rising up the next generation song. so i can see why is works for the youth ministry.

Thanks man, I wrote it while we were the house band at a missions camp. At the camp they showed a clip of Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech where he quoted Amos 5:24...inspiring me to spend my free time during the two weeks of camp writing this song. For some reason I don't write a lot of the intimate or anthemic worship songs...my originals usually come out as more upbeatt/pop.
