Thanks to Michael, Gav, Ian and Marc for your valuable input on this song. I had someone from the Gospel Music Association (GMA) critique the previous version, and many of the things you commented on were repeated by GMA. Comments are still welcome, although I think it's close to final. I wanted you to know how much I appreciate the input and the great work you do!!
Jeff
Verse 1
Your voice, oh Lord, stirs the sea
With thunder, Lord, You silence the crashing waves
When You call to us
We answer You
We all cry, “Glory!
Chorus
The splendor of Your holiness surrounds us
The grandeur of Your presence consumes all our sorrow
Your majesty humbles every heart
As we worship You in the splendor of Your holiness
Verse 2
Your voice, oh Lord, shakes the earth
With lightning, Lord, You brighten the darkest night
You are near to us
We honor You
We give You glory
Chorus
Final Chorus
The splendor of Your holiness surrounds us
The granduer of Your presence consumes all our sorrow
Your majesty humbles every heart
As we worship You,
Lord, we worship You,
Yes, we worship You in the splendor of Your holiness
