the devil's best friends

When we fail to walk in the spirit, we walk in the flesh and cause damage to ourselves and others - de facto becoming the devil's best friends.

Exploiting this "carnality" is the primary means by which the enemy reaches inside the church body and inflicts damage in a devastatingly demotivating way that persecution from the outside cannot.

How carnal am I?

Some honest questions are required, for example:

1)Do i like to gossip?
2)Am I always right?
3)Do I have a tendecy grumble and criticise?
4)Do I like watching other people get what's coming to them?
5)Do i like to mock and pull people down?
6)Do i like finding the faults noone else has found?
7)Do i feel envious when others succeed and prosper?
8)Am I surprised when God uses someone else more than me?
9)Do i seek attention?
10)Am I easily offended?

At one time in their walk, I think most people could answer "yes" to most of these. Many of us are or were once caught in the spiritual "deep freeze" of carnality.
Its time to defrost.

What the solution?

Here's one, Jesus said:

“Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” John 11:43

Like a new Christian, Lazarus was born again but covered in bandages, barely able to see, hear or walk.
But Jesus gave instructions for his disciples to take them off.

One dimension of this is surely friends and mentors helping with prayer and action to help the immature or those fallen into immaturity to see, hear and walk.

This way, God's best friends help turn the devil's best friends into people that bring healing, hope and love where it's needed most.
