Tried to post this earlier on but the song only played the first 22 seconds. Here goes again.
My brain is still not able to produce anything particularly clever to say here right now so I'll just let this song speak for itself. enjoi - here are the lyrics:
Standing before You, I see Your beauty written in the sky
All of creation echoes the glory of a Wondrous King
Who am I that I should ever know Your love
Should ever know the grace that You've given to me
now
CHORUS:
Jesus, my life, my heart and my soul
I give it all to You
All of my hopes, the dreams in my heart
I give it all to You
My life is hidden with You in glory, free of all my yesterdays
You give me hope for all my tomorrows, You're my faithful God
Now and evermore I will look to You
The author of my life, let Your story unfold
CHORUS:
Jesus, my life, my heart and my soul
I give it all to You
All of my hopes, the dreams in my heart
I give it all to You
As I see Your face, shine Your light on me
Let the world see You in my life
As I see Your face, shine Your light on me
Let the world see You in my life

Wayne,
Great song. I like the use of the minor-5 in there, really makes the melody have an interesting movement. Great vocals throughout. Not going back to the chorus after the bridge was an interesting choice...I wonder what it would sound like vamping the line "I give it all to you" over the outro section.
Thanks for posting.

Hey Wayne,
Another great song, both musically and lyrically - love it! Keep going, you've clearly got a fantastic gift for this stuff :)
Michael
Cheers for that you guys. Like the vamping idea, Erik - if you have any ideas re that I'd love to hear them.
Hey mate
Another great song all round! You have a superb gift, praise God!
It feels like it's crying out for a different chord on the word 'heart in the chorus' (3rd line) I dont have my guitar with me here so when I get it later I'll see if I can nail down what I mean.
Hope your well and keep on writing!
Hey Chris,
Any idea on that mysterious chord? Love to hear what's in your head man. Thanks for the comments. Hope you're well too mate.
Hi Wayne,
Hope you're well. Love the song. I remember it from the retreat i think. Great lyrics and melody.
The only section i wonder could be slightly stronger is the tag. Sounds great in the recording but i wonder if there's a melody even more anthemic and singable. Might be wrong - just a thought.
Another great song though. Keep it up!

Hey Wayne,
I tried a few different chords over the "heart" part. How about a minor instead?
I think the song's capo1? so it'd be a Gm with the capo, taking you to the D on "you". You'd have to change the melody a tad though on that last line (which you may or may not like). Have put what's in my head on a thread called "For Wayne"!
