PLEASE POST MUSIC/LYRICS FOR NEW SOUL SURVIVOR SONGS (preferably those originating from SS Watford)

Hey Everybody, I'm scurrying about trying to get my hands on the new soul survivor music. It's easy enough to find the music which soul survivor borrowed form others but the music which originated from soul survivor Watford is near impossible to get hold of. If any of you can direct me to this music, post music or just give me the lyrics then that will be sufficient for me to get the church band practising these songs.

2 songs in particular
- the one which goes "You never give up on us, you never let go or turn away, we're holding onto you, our God is strong, our God is good"
- and the one which goes "Your love is amazing God, so high so vast, it reaches even me, now that I've found you Lord, my heart is yours, this is where I want to be"

The other ones include
- the one which is about running home, "I'm running into your arms of grace with no reason to hide"
- the one 'Our God is for us', "Your love it burns so fierce for us, your love it conquered death on a cross
-a new lively one"I am alwyas yours, Jesus, you are always mine"
- and finally the one which the New Zealand guy wrote "Hallelujah chains are broken, broken, Hallelujah love has spoken, spoken"

Any help appreciated!

Here's one to start off with which I gleaned from a youtube video, please correct if necessary! (If I missed a bit or mis-phrased a lyric)

YOU NEVER GIVE UP ON US

F capo1

Chorus

You never give up on us F C Dm Bb
you never let go or turn away
we’re holding onto you
our God is strong
our God is good

Verse 1

You’re the God of salvation F C Dm Bb
we call on your name
you came to redeem us
carry our shame
we stumble and fall down Dm C F Bb
we turn from your ways
in you we find mercy
we’re held in your grace
held in your grace Dm C

Verse 2

You’re the God of compassion F C Dm Bb
the friend of the least
not coming to be served
you served those in need
we surrender our burdens Dm C F Bb
our lives at your cross
we trust in the saviour
the God who is love
our God is love! Dm C

hi joseph,

thanks for this!

could you also tell me what new songs they did at soul survivor A that werent from the soul survivor watford guys?

God bless,
gav.

Thanks for starting this. A similar thread was started last year and was really useful.

Other songs they did were 'Here For You' from Matt Redman's new CD and the passion conference, and 'One Thing Remains' from Bethel/Jesus Culture I think?

Really liked the bridge from Hallelujah, chains are broken which was something along the lines of:

"Nothing else Jesus could ever take your place,
You are higher, greater
My heart and soul, Lift up Your name,
Forever I'll proclaim"

and chorus

"Hallelujah, chains are broken, broken,
Hallelujah, love has spoken, spoken,
You are all I need,
Jesus You are all I need"

Arms of grace lyrics I remember:

"Running into your arms of grace,
with no reason to hide away,
It's not the first time I've been in the place,
I'm coming home again,
I'm welcomed home again"

and

"Your arms are open wide,
Grace takes me back again,
You always take me back,
There's (something) in Your eyes,
Thank You Lord for loving me
There's nothing like Your love"

There was also one about glorious light:

"Leaving the grave behind,
He rose in glorious light,
His name is Jesus,
He is the saviour,
Leading us into life,
We shine in glorious light,
We worship Jesus,
The risen saviour"

If anyone has full lyrics for the songs I'll work out the chords and put some chords sheets up here as PDFs like I did last year.

Also if anyone has videos, putting them on YouTube would be great. There's a couple on there if you search 'soul survivor' and sort by date uploaded.

hi ogvidius!

cheers for that.

I love the song 'here for you' so am really glad they have been doing that one :o)

as for the glorious light one that is called 'once in darkness' by beth c, luke h and dave g which is on this site under new songs if you scroll back to about feb.

im off to soul survivor c so will see what else i can find!
Gav.

Brilliant! Didn't realise that song was on here. That's great :)

Ones I didn't mention in my original post were
- "we are here for you" which can be downloaded or printed off the official Matt Redman website
- "we were once in darkness" which can be downloaded/printed off the Worshipcentral songs section
-" One thing remains" (your love never fails) which is on Ultimateguitar.com as well as many alternative websites as it's been around a while (really awesome Jesus Culture song!)
- "For Your Glory" also on Worshipcentral
- ("O praise him" this is new to me, I don't know if SS have done it before)

That's all I got, there could be others. Everything I mentioned is very easy to get hold of on the internet so thats why I phrased the question to focus specifically on the Watford songs (written by Jamie, Beth and Tom)

I completely forgot that soul survivor B and C haven't gone ahead yet! SPOILERS! Maybe they'll play songs at them which didn't appear at A?!

i think O Praise him is by David crowder, its an older song from a few yrs ago now.
or maybe its a new one under the same name?

cheers,
Gav.

I'd forgotten about that one! Yes, it was the David Crowder song but first time it's been done at SS I think.

theyve been doin O Praise him for yrs.

here's a link from a while back with Ben C doing it:
