Hi,
Wold love to hear your thoughts on this song I've being writing. I've defiantly enjoyed messing around with garageband!
King of love pierced for me
Nails in His hands and feet
I am broken but you have chosen me
Its by your mercy I am free
King of love pierced for me
Nails in His hands and feet
His body broken, broken for me
Its by His mercy I am free
And I will trust in you
I will will trust in you
You are my Rock and My salvation
You hear the cries of this heart
Its Your love that i long for
Because of You I will not stand alone
Because of You I will not stand alone
Bridge
I am broken, but you have chosen me
Its by your mercy I am free

It would be great to hear peoples thoughts on this song.
Do people think it's a congretional song and lyrically do people think it's ready to take it to the church?

wow i like the song, it's nice and slow so it could be played in the background when people are praying and stuff too :)
Hey Chris. I like the song, both musically and lyrically. Style-wise, I think it would easily fit on a Trent Vineyard album.
As far as being a congregational song, I don't think it would fit in that category for a lot of churches. In my opinion, it's not the type of song that will quickly pull in congregations to sing along. It's more of an album or concert song. Of course, there are probably some churches which would use it, but not your average church.
One suggestion I would make is to either use pitch correction on your vocal track, or re-record it and really make sure your voice doesn't drift out of pitch. I like your vocal sound, but there are a number of places where you lose the pitch quite noticeably. The pitch thing can close doors with listeners & it would be a shame to have people miss out on hearing a great song like this. So, as much as possible, strive for a final mix with the pitch spot-on.

Also, try leaving some feedback for other people's songs in this forum & you might get some more responses on yours. It doesn't seem that many people are commenting right now...
