Something that has been on my mind recently is around the interaction between worship leaders within local churches. It may be my own fault but I really know nothing about other churches within the vicinity of my church on what their musical style is and who the worship leader(s) are there. What is it like for you and your area? Do you speak to other local worship leaders?
I know we do what we can to support other worship leaders within our church but should we be doing more to support other worship leaders within the local community?
Because i do youth work as well i know the other youth worship leaders and people from events, but other than that i don't really know anyone. My church has got alot of worship leaders to the point of most of us lead in other churches as well but still we very rarely talk to each other unless like i said we are the youth worship leaders because we are basically mentored by an older worship leader to train us up as such. It is a real shame to be honest, i think demoniations by have something to do with it but im not really sure, we do tend to keep our churches to ourselves however recently i have spoken to my mates and young people and not many of them are concerned with demoniations and in fact called themselves chirstians rather than say 'baptists' 'C of E' etc. however i go to a catholic school where it is still something that people keep close to them. :).

not well, but I've started the ball rolling on doing something about it.
