The majority of this song came to me during an Alpha conference at HTB. I've since used it in church on various occasions and on the Alpha weekend away. Hope you like it. Hi Neil I love this song! It's great to 1) have a song about the Spirit 2) have a song that's not 2 verses a chorus and a tag! and 3) hymn like The only thing I wasn't so sure about is the tune as its a bit monotone and with there being so many verses it might get a bit too repetitive. Thanks Chris, glad you liked it. I havent had a chance to try out your changes yet, but I have downloaded the verse you recorded. Is there any chance you could do the whole song to hear how it could sound? I think that this is one of those songs that should be sung however you feel led by the spirit, and it doesnt take much to change it slightly to make a big difference, while it is still stays in essence the same prayer. More songs to follow shortly.......... Blessings Neil

Hi Neil, Yeah I think the new melody works, the reason why I dropped the "Lord" in those parts was it felt like it disrupted the verse rhythm and made it a bit rushed just for that bit. (you could maybe just do that as an "adlib" sometimes? If I'm honest I would be tempted to just to use the A rather than Asus4 too :D blessings mate, great song and it's nice to hear your Scottish voice coming through! Chris.
