I am trying to organise a musical evangelism event which connects with the culture we are in. In order to do this I an intending to use secular music which can then be used to point people to the Gospel, in the same way Paul used Greek poets to open up the Gospel in Acts 17. My question is whether anyone knows any good songs for this. Also please pray for this event.
Thanks.

Depends what sort of questions you want to ask...
At church, we've used the chorus from Crowded House 'Fall at your feet', and the bit from an Athlete song (I think) which goes, 'I've got soul but i'm not a soldier'.
Couple of U2 tracks could probably be used too. End of the World, In the Name of Love etc.

'Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' by U2 is probably another. I think the song Joe mentioned above is actually by The Killers...

I think you're right Neil... I wrote Killers first, but then changed it as I thought I was wrong!

Well you may be right (about being wrong...)!! It doesn't sound much like their other stuff, if it is one of theirs...

great idea,
songs like spirit in the sky with a bit of a message are quite helpful. plus the following:
God put a smile on your face-coldplay
Yahweh-U2
Black and Gold-Sam Sparrow
lean on me-cant remember who wrote it
Fix you-Coldplay
God bless,
gav.
There may be a few Athlete songs that are appropriate as they are Christians. You have to think laterally, but the chorus and bridge to 'Westside' are very good! Also 'Holiness' by Daniel Bedingfield, which is his (very good) attempt at a worship song.

A slightly more niche option could be 'Eye Of The Storm' by Killswitch Engage. Their singer is a Christian by all accounts, but the rest of the band are not, so his lyrics are quite 'covert'...
