Hi, I had a bad cut on the top of my fretting hand ring finger over a year ago and altho its all healed up, the top half centimer is still numb, with sensitive scar tissue below it. Ive adapted my style and can play most of what I could before, but it's frustrating at times that I still cant play certain things.
The medical advice at the time was that the numbness would dissappear after 6 months and altho its not a problem for anything else, its an ongoing problem for a guitarist and Im sure God would want me fully equipped to do His work.
Is there anyone who has any advice, or can point me to someone who can help?
Thanks & Blessings, Dave Snowdon

God is good.

Simple as it might sound, if you were told it'd disappear after 6 months or so then I'd go back to the doctor and ask - if it's a case of just needing more rest or potentially doing permanent damage if you don't rest it then you'd be best finding out! I'm not trying to scare you, just think it might be the most sensible course of action here.
