How To Upload Your Songs

Songwriters, here's how to post your songs and get feedback from the community. Start a new topic in the Songwriting Clinic Forum. Give the topic a meaningful title, probably related to your song's name. In the body indicate maybe what the song is about and if you only want feedback on a specific aspect of the song. Then at the bottom of the submission page click on 'File Attachments'. Here you can upload your mp3. Simply select the file from your computer and click on 'Attach'. Wait for the file to upload before hitting the 'Submit' button. The MP3 must be under 20MB in size, and have a sample rate of 44.100 kHz, 22.050 kHz or 11.025 kHz. We look forward to hearing your songs! |

Jords - most songs come up with a little play symbol next to them and start playing when you click on this. However, I uploaded a song and it didn't have this but opens up in Quicktime when you click on the link. Is there a way to set it so it does like all the other songs?

Hi Wayne, Your file had a strange mime-type which isn't standard. So I changed it and the player will now appear for you.

strange... literally just done that now!
The player will not play songs for any longer than a minute. So, I can never hear the full song people post.
Is there a setting that I need to adjust?
