Hi,

I don't know what connotations you attach to revival or how you view it but I personally find this incredibly interesting and think it would be great to discuss revival in general but also more specifically, especially considering what's going on around the country right now.

I grew up in Leicester and for several months before I left for University here in Middlesbrough, there was a growing sense of coming revival and various churches across the city started mixing and spending lots of time praying for our city, praying for a sovereign move of God and recently there have been many breakthroughs and a general buzz through different churches (I know of 3 but I am sure there are more). It made it so hard for me to leave, I just wanted to stay and be a part of all of it!

What excited me more though is coming up here to the cold and finding Christians doing similar things to what we were doing and again there is a huge anticipation of revival and a willingness to seek God. So to me it looks like a similar thing is starting to happen up here.

I also heard that Wolverhampton are in a similar situation, and I met many Christians over the last summer who were excited for revival and things like this.

Are any of you experiencing similar things in your churches? Do you think it's something we should all be joining together and asking God for?

And if you have experienced this kind of thing, how has your worship changed (if at all) by it? I know it changed me.
