Hi,
So this is my first posting on here, quite a simple recording of a song I wrote in July.
Be great to here your comments.
Tim
V1
Faithful Father,
In you I trust In you I hope, In you I find my strength
Mighty Saviour,
You’re my strong tower, my firm foundation, you’re the love that endures
When I’m kneeling in the valley, When I’m reaching for the sky
I can feel your love surround me, From deep within my spirit cries
Chorus
You are Magnificently Wonderful,
Eternally so powerful you are, Yes you are
And you use all things for your glory,
All creation tells the story of who you are, How great you are
For there is no one like you, No one as glorious as you
My God
How Magnificent you are, How Magnificent you are
V2
My Provider
You Hear my cry, You pour your blessings, You Restore my life again
King Forever
You’ve captured my heart, To you I surrender, To you I live my life
When I stand before your glory When I bow before my king
I still feel your love surround me From deep within my spirit sings.

You are faithful, Yesterday forever,
And your love endures, Yes your love endures

Hello Tim,
Good effort with this. The chorus is very catchy. I do find 'How Magnificent you are, How Magnificent you are' rather relentlessly high to sing - and yet I can't see that it can be transposed down easily given the low start. Maybe something to think about.
I really like the lyric 'When I’m kneeling in the valley, When I’m reaching for the sky'. I think you could explore creating more lines like these as the rest of the lyrics are more commonplace IMHO.
Hope that's not too picky as I think you've created a decent song.
God bless,
Ian

Hey Ian,
Cheers for the feedback... Fully understand the transpose issue... Tried it in A at first but it made the verses a bit low and flat.. It needed the lift to Bb... It makes it a song that can't be sung quietly ... hmm
