Just last week I shared at practice on Excellence and how there is a difference between excellence and perfection. And when we make mistakes or things go wrong its ok.
That sunday morning I broke my Top E string. That sunday evening i knocked over a keyboard with my guitar.
This sunday morning during a quiet time of worship I accidently changed my delay to time warp and made it sound like a ufo was landing on the stage.
Think its time to share about something else at practice!!

During one song, I once broke three strings on a six string guitar. That was quite a challenge to try and work out chords to finish the song. Luckily the vicar had his guitar spare (but in the end I put new strings on during the sermon - but I did listen!)
And on another song (not the same day thankfully) both sides of my guitar strap fell off, meaning that I ended up playing guitar like a flamingo on one leg, and the church warden and the singer next to me both ended up putting the strap back on me. But its amazing how God can work even through that. Somebody came up and said they'd really been touched during the worship. Thank the Lord our worship leading doesn't have to be perfect!
