Hi Gavin, not a huge amount to say about this one (which maybe is why no-one's commented?!) other than great song and very nice production. It doesn't seem particularly congregational to me as it's very much directed to the listener, but as a ministry or performance song I presume this works really well. Have you got a web-site or an album out with more of your stuff? I'm guessing to have recorded one song this well means you've got others tucked away somewhere as well??

Wow I actualy love this

I kind of agree that this isnt the sort of thing id sing along with in church but bop along to it on my iPod
Its musicaly much better than a lot of christian music, and the lyrics are great too.

Can I just ask if you recorded it in one go or in layers?

i recorded the acoustic and vocals and my whizz brother did the rest with layers yeh. i think its 6/8 instead of 3/4 but they are v close. thanks for listening and giving feedback.

Like the song - good feel, like the 6/8. I agree with Matt's comments about the second person voice making it seem personal rather than congregational.

Just one comment, which is maybe a bit of an aside. In the song you sing God WILL bring you healing, but in the text it's God CAN bring you healing. Although there's a subtle difference in meaning between the two, they are both true (WILL ultimately, CAN in that it may not happen this side of heaven.) Which is the final version? (And why?)

i forgot to update the lyrics, good spot with that!
its more about having faith that God will heal us this side of heaven, even if not physically
he will heal our hearts to deal with our pain. but yes in heaven we will have final healing so
people can use it to mean that also.

Great song. In the right setting this song could really minister to christians. We need songs to keep reminding us to walk by faith and not by sight.

really like this song, especially love the words too the bridge - fantastic.
It might just be me but I think "God cares how youre feeling" sounds a little bit cheesy?
