Core Worship Leaders Text Books / Manuals

Hi, i'm in the process of putting together a 8-10 session course in worship leading for budding/new/existing worship leaders in my church. We're going to look at 'head/heart/hands' to reflect theology/passion/practical training. I can't seem to find anywhere a core worship leaders manual/text book that we can base our material on. Any ideas on good books which cover 'head/heart/hands'? I've read Matt Redman: 'worship files 1/2', 'Facedown', 'Inside out worship' and Tom Kraeuter 'The worship leaders handbook' but these aren't hitting the nail on the head at the moment. Thanks, John P.s. has anyone come accrosss an equivalent 8-10 session course on worship like the Alpha course only for worship leaders?! |
Simon Brading is doing something along those lines as a conference. The details can be found on the Survivor website
Worship Matters by Bob Kauflin is excellent, but it's not a course per se.
Have been thinking about a similar thing where we are. What would be in each of your 8-10 weeks?
Ill give another vote for worship matters. Just got it yesterday and have finished the first section, it is very helpful.
I am also looking for a course, maybe not as long as 8-10 weeks, but for a whole worship team to do. Not necisaraly just for the worship leaders perspective.
