Do you feel called to train worship leaders? Is He calling you to the nations? We need worshippers, with experience in worship leading, music, or theology, to come to India, for a couple weeks or a few months, to teach our aspiring worship leaders. Our first session begins in January 2010, and there will be courses and/or events going on throughout the entire year and those following. We will also be holding larger external conferences from time to time, at a more rural level to instruct worshippers and infuse passionate, intimate worship in to our village churches as well. The Covenant School of Worship, based in Hyderabad, India, is designed to train and equip a new generation of worship leaders and worshippers that are rising up in India. God is imparting a fresh, vibrant expression of worship music among His Church here. We are currently looking for people with worship leading experience who feel like God may be calling them to train up other worship leaders in India. We are part of India Christian Ministries, an indigenous ministry, which has experienced an explosion of growth over the past decade, establishing a network of over 2000 churches. Each new move of God is accompanied by a renewal of worship, with new songs and original sounds appropriate for the age and culture. ICM has been instrumental in laying the groundwork for what is now quickly intensifying: a passionate, God-breathed, fresh experience of worship. There is so much creativity and growth occurring with worship music in India, and we have even produced 6 albums with almost all of the songs being written and performed by worship leaders from our local churches. We however do not have a great number of very skilled worship leaders, compared to our size and thus God has given us the desire to start a worship school so that we can see an even greater release of anointed and empowered worship music in the Church here. It would bring us such joy to have some international partners who would come alongside us, sharing in our vision and uniting in our cause to release worship leaders into the Church in India, who are not only gifted, but are skilled, trained and equipped, as there is still a void at present. This is entirely a not-for-profit venture and thus are looking for people who feel called to volunteer their time as guest lecturers or faculty. India is ripe for a release of passionate and intimate worship in its Church. Once intimacy is introduced on a broader scale, we truly believe that an unprecedented move of God will soon follow.
