Christmas Song for solo/item " O Come Immanuel"

Someone pointed out Worship Central to me so i thought I would pop up a song I wrote a couple of years ago for a Christmas production. Not a congregational worship song but worked well as an item. The recording was pretty basic so please overlook the lack of production! Would like some feedback Thanks, Nicholas Tuohy O Come Immanuel © 2007 Nicholas Tuohy Verse 1 Just a little baby, so tender and mild But the hopes of this world, rest on this child The darkness flees, for the light has come God has sent, His only Son Pre Chorus Those walking in darkness have seen a great Light For the Hope of all Ages, has been born tonight Chorus O come O come Immanuel, God with us to stay O come O come Immanuel, and bring us peace we pray Verse 2 There's too much suffering, there's too much pain For we keep on making, the same mistakes Lift your eyes to His star above Let your heart be filled with love (to pre chorus) Bridge We pray for the children the sad and the broken For those who are searching for the way So let the cries of the hopeless Find hope now in Jesus As we look to the dawn of a new day, we pray (to chorus)

It look's like you don't have Adobe Flash Player installed. Get it now.

Hi Nicholas, Good to see you on here! Sounds very singable - can you post some lyrics so we can give some detailed feedback? See you later! Ian

Thanks Ian, I can't play any songs- have reinstalled Flash 3 times- any ideas?
Hi Nicholas, There is a separate thread on the flash issue - I have a Mac so I don't have any trouble with it! I really like your chorus - simple and memorable. I also like the fact that it is a real outreach song. The modulations in the bridge are cool! I am assuming it is a performance number rather than being congregational, although a congregation could easily join in at the chorus. If you want it to be congregational I think that you need to regulate the syllable count in the verses. God bless, Ian
