Hi Bakeyman, liked the simplicity of your lyrics and also liked the upbeat nature of the song, which reflects our dependence on God. I did wonder if a bridge or a tag at the end might add an extra dimension, perhaps something about God answering when we call? Just my thoughts though, good work.

LYRICS - "CALL ON YOU"
verse
In everything I want to do, I give all over to you
All my hopes dreams and plans, I place them into your hands
Chorus
I call on you almighty God
I call on you risen lord
I call on you Jesus Christ
I call on you I call on you
Verse 2
Although the storms around me rage and the wind it blows against my face
I will trust in your love from the mire you picked me up
Verse 3
I will wait in this place, humbly I will seek your face
I know you will hear my cry and answer my prayer tonight

Hi Adam,
I really like the simplicity of the chorus. The feel sort of reminds me of early an Delirious song. I also really like the 'from the mire' line also.
I just wonder whethere there needs to be some kind of bridge or pre-chorus because the same melody runs throughout the whole song.
The recording and arrangement is good as well.

Correct me if I am wrong but it seems like your melody in the verse is almost the same as your melody in the chorus. I'd like to see the melody rise a bit in chorus.
