Tour // Manchester

Manchester highlights: great gathering of worship pastors, awesome ministry and a great evening. The second last night of the tour was really fun: we were in Manchester, hosted by a good friend called Lynn Swart, who I have known since I was a teenager and was instrumental in encouraging me with worship leading.

We arrived into town about 9am and stopped off at 'The Message' to borrow their showers - there are no showers on the bus, so we all hit the washrooms wherever we go like a smelly rugby team: 15 of us desperately in need of soap. Our drummer, Ben Bryant, is a local boy, so we stopped off at his parents place for a coffee. Then onto the venue to set up and sound check. We've been using in-ears only (a system called AVIOM) which makes setting up very quick and easy. The evening was great: we started with a gathering of worship pastors from around Manchester and the North, which was awesome. Then the night was rammed: sold out, loads of people from across the place from Leeds to Wales. The ministry tonight was really powerful, one girl was healed from an arm problem, and it was cool. Anyway, we're hitting the sack as we leave for Birmingham in the middle of the night. Last night on the bus, it's been crazy fun...

Tim and Al, had you or Steve asked me, you could have driven over to mine for a shower, etc. as Steve now knows that I live on my own! Man it would have been awesome for you guys to kip over for the night on Thursday then be able to travel up north to Manchester. Oh, well. Next time is a must for you boys. You're all welcomed to use my house as base any day. AJ Visit AJ wordpress Weblog http://a2jwilson.wordpress.com/

Hi Al !! I'd just like to thank you for such strong worship on friday night. I had such a good time and was ultimately closer to Jesus. As you've mentioned, my arm was healed and i am so thankful for that! I hadn't been able to even move it the slightest it was so painful, and Jesus simply healed it within a few minutes of prayer. I'm now recovering really well and moving it up and down, my parents are amazed :) I've been able to see God's wonders be performed in my own life, and I couldn't be happier about that, Thanks again! Tara xx
Hi Guys, I just wanted to say that that night was absolutely amazing. We do youth worship nights at our church and we have used many of the songs you used on that night so far and we are planning to use many more!!! It would be great if anyone could give us any tips on how to make one of our nights as great as that was... Charli xx
