Hey Tim, nice bit of commercial endorsement there!..haha Im just kidding. we looked into some in ear monitors, as with all most church worship bands the monitor wedges sometime end up being louder than the front of house. I checked out some options from shure as the ear monitor itself is their top end headphone with a fitted attachment (sensaphonics) which was a tip I found here http://www.drumdojo.com/reviews/iem.htm

But essentially for this student/guitarist they are still a little out of my price range!

Thanks for the heads up on the in ear monitoring. I have been looking for an effective solution to protect my hearing, and have been avoiding ear plugs due to the loss of sound quality and annoyance.

If this is as good as it sounds on the review, this could too be a great solution for a molded in ear monitor, providing clarity in the mix & and protecting my ears at the same time.

I will Google this a little more, and get some prices here in Australia.

Hey Tim I just want to say over the past few months you've been a massive help and encouragement to me as God's leading me more and more into worship leading, and I've grown very passionate about it. It's hard and i've still got a heck of alot to learn but hey! Looking forward to worshipping God with you at soul survivor A this year - you have an amazing gift of leading people into worship.

What Ultimate ears you got? I got some of the UE 5's they sound great dont they!
