Gearing up for the Tour

Well tomorrow we pack our bags and head out for our first UK Worship Central Tour. We're really excited about these 8 nights of worship. A chance to make some new friends, an opportunity to catch up with old friends, a time to learn and discover more about who God is and what He's doing in His Church in the UK.
We've been practicing today - going through the songs - learning our parts. It's going to be a fun time. If you haven't booked your ticket then do so quickly. Come and say hi!
We'll try and keep you up-to-date with what happens each night.

15Oct08Thank you for York tonight, Tim and Al, and all the team. It was a great evening, I was so pleased to hear people being reminded to worship God not the worship leaders, and not to put them on pedestals like celebrities. There is too much pressure and temptation when that happens, as news in recent months testifies. For me it made the worship authentic to hear that, as I had been a bit concerned initially (having come in a bit late and not heard any introductory comments if there were any) that people seemed so hyped up. Glad to realise it was all for Jesus, and not some form of mass hysteria. Worship needs to much to be resonant in our hearts and the way we live out our lives, not just how exuberantly we worship in church so it was so pleasing to hear of the tales of those in your church who just faithfully serve worshipfully. Truly soul-heartening and encouraging, thank you. May you all be richly blessed as you progress round the country, and be protected and kept safe and refreshed as you travel.
