Dynamic Prayer

Dynamic Prayer

Working in the church for over 7 years has meant that I've had to attend my fair share of prayer meetings. Some have been amazing, inspired and exciting, a huge amount have been quiet, dull and instantly forgettable. Prayer is always such a challenging subject. We all agree that it is an absolutely crucial aspect of our spiritual walk, yet somehow we often find it difficult to maintain a passion for prayer in our personal and corporate lives.

Well on Thursday 7th June there is a dynamic prayer conference at HTB with Nicky Gumbel, Jeremy Jennings, Pete Greig and Pastor Agu Irukwu. If you are hungry to go deeper in your prayer life, if you are desperate for an end to boring prayer meetings, then try and get along to this day, even if you can only come for the evening. These guys are some of the most profound practioners and thinkers on pray. I'll be there leading worship and trying to learn as much as I can myself.

Hosted at HTB, London, click here for more details.

Pete Greig rocks. Have you read "Red Moon Rising" yet Tim? I was curious if you'd share what you've been reading lately. =)

Grace and peace,

Erik

"Will the real church please sand up". Author Michael Fewson, is a must read for every christian wanting to step out of the cultic religion of this society aka 'western christianity'.

not only for pastors but for all.

Yes, for me prayer is one of the hardest things for me to do well in front of a group as a worship leader. Any more suggestions as to what I could do to grow in this area would be appreciated.
