ASIA DAY TEN
With 850 worship leaders we had our first worship central day in Singapore. It was very encouraging to see such a diverse group of denominations and nationalities gathered together. We had Baptist, Anglican, AOG, Catholic, Methodist and Non-denominational worship teams from all over Singapore as well as Taiwan, Burma, Thailand, Japan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.
Wherever we've gone we've been struck by people's hunger and the need for training. Some of these countries have very little resources. It's such an honour to be able to chat with them and share some lessons we've learnt along the way.
We had some great sessions of teaching as well as some powerful times of worship. One highlight was the Live Lounge. Hosted by Al, we interviewed a couple of local worship leaders. A guy called Clement Chow (who is a hero here - he wrote a song which has effectively become the Singapore national anthem), a worship pastor called John Koh from a large mega church called FCBC, as well as a worship pastor from Hong Kong called Tom Read. It was invaluable to get some local input.
After a very encouraging day we headed off the Singapore night safari. Was great fun watching lions, elephants, tigers and rhino.
Anyway a fantastic day. Tomorrow we visit a few churches to meet some key senior pastors and then we fly home.

Hello there,
I really think that this is the time to take a stand and reveal the splendor, majesty and greatness in worshipping GOD THE FATHER.
And also to wake up the sleeping generation.
lavanya:
Guess you had a wonderful time. It's funny however that we do not become tired when we take a stand for GOD THE FATHER.That's the power of worship.
Phil:
Sounds like you had a wonderful time - I like the sound of that national anthem!
God bless!

Buvana:
"The songwriters are the theologians of today" and "Our worship must impact Joyce" were two statements that you made that hit me right *there* -- they were my take-home messages from Saturday. I also learnt so much from watching your team, how you and Al were so open to the movement of the Holy Spirit and so willing to put your own plans aside in terms of leading worship. You've given us much to chew on.
Thank you again for coming to conduct this conference. My only regret is that only a few members of our team could be there -- I'm looking forward to the DVDs!
Jonathan:
I love the Night Safari in Singapore. When I went, I actually saw tigers fighting and lions roaring. It was a amazing.
Great to hear what God is doing in Asia through you guys.
Mark De Winne:
