My friend Martyn Layzell is leading a worship leaders retreat in Oxford, 1-4 October, 2006. Martyn is the worship pastor at St. Aldates, Oxford and has written songs such as 'Lost in Wonder,' 'Turn my Face,' and 'Praise You.' Well I'm just back off holiday - 2 weeks in Croatia. Beautiful! Whilst away I re-read one of my favourite books, "Seeing and Savouring Jesus Christ," by John Piper. It's a fantastic little book. Drenched in Scripture and full of insights into the person of Jesus Christ. A great devotional book that will no doubt fuel you in your worship. If you're looking for some inspiration I highly recommend this book.
