Delirious Tour

Delirious Tour

During October I'm going to be touring with Delirious on their 'Mission Bell' tour. I'm really excited about the nights of worship we have planned; a chance to gather together and worship God passionately and intimately. For more info on dates and venues click here.
Love came down

Love came down

I've just got back from Soul Survivor and Passion For Your Name. Fifteen days of worship, teaching, ministry, rain, sport, gigs, de-caf coffee (I've given up caffeine), muesli (I'm trying to be healthy), pub lunches (less healthy!) and great chats. It's been a really special time. God has done some truly amazing things.
Passion For Your Name
I'm getting really excited about this years Passion For Your Name festival. Taking place in Shepton Mallet, we've got lots of cool things happening. Guest speakers and worship leaders include Tre Sheppard, JJohn, Martyn Layzell, Jonny Parks, Brother Andrew, David Westlake, Mike Pilavachi, Jo Saxton, plus loads more. Rach and myself will be hosting it.
God's favourite sound?
I've been spending the last month or so thinking a lot about songs. Particularly the songs that I've been working on. It can become a very consuming process. Does it sound cool? Is it a singable melody? Are the lyrics fresh? Will people love it or hate it? Is it better than other songs I've written? Does it capture emotion? They are all good questions and worth thinking about - but recently I realised that there was one key question that I was failing to ask. That is, 'God, what do you think about this song?'
