India - Day Seven

Day One of our second Alpha conference. Team exhausted, but seeing the Spirit at work is great.

We've had agreat day at our biggest conference yet. Loads of leaders from across the state and some really good training. As I write I'm sitting in the lobby of the hotel (where the wi-fi is) and i'm literally falling asleep over the computer.

Todays highlights included seeing a woman who'd responded to a word of knowledge for Arthritis begin to be healed - as Simone was praying for her, she felt the areas affected begin to move, so we'll see how she's doing tomorrow. Also the time of ministry was really powerful, with God pouring out his Spirit 'like the monsoon rain'!

Tonight we had supper with Jimmy and the overall Coordinator for this area of India - it was very inspiring and we're already dreaming dreams for how we can keep being involved in what God is doing here.

Please pray for the last lap of the trip - tomorrow is day 2 and we're back to Mumbai in the evening, then home the next day... This may be my last post from India as I'm not sure there will be internet access tomorrow night, but pray for us that we will finish well.

I'll try and post on our return to the UK, so that we've recorded the whole trip... laters!

Just to top things off - here's a photo of Simone in a Sari to make you giggle. She keeps getting told off by women at the conference for wearing it wrong. Brilliant!

Awesome work Al & team - great things seem to be happening in that god-soaked nation. We will hold you guys in our prayers over the home straits...
