27Apr08Hi Al
Was a great day; speaking very personally the morning session was very awesome for my husband and I (you may have clocked there was quite a bit of receiving going on). Thank you so much.
Lots and lots is going through my head processing what you, Tim (and Pete G) taught about worship - which I was processing as it affects children, whom I teach about and lead in worship. I'm pushing through with a Bethel curriculum on Heaven Invading Earth with the 8s to 11s and I'm starting 4 weeks of teaching on worship with them and their families next week.
As a pastor of children/families, I'd comment that there is a stirring within the kids I work with to engage in worship in amazing ways and the Sunday/weekday divide is not as evident as it might be with some adults.
My own theological reflections on children and worship have very much steered where I and my church are going on this (more on my blog)and it crossed my mind yesterday that theological input on children and young people, taking Westerhoff/Fowler's studies on faith development in children as a basis, could be a topic really worth considering for Worship Central in the future.
We MUST start young; it's generally accepted that we want to teach our teenagers about a lifestyle of worship; but I speak as one who represents the under 12s.
I'm gonna post more on it on www.helpiworkwithchildren.blogspot.com on Monday.
Bless you guys!

27Apr08Hi Tim and Al,
I was priviledged to be part of the hosting team and it truely was an amazing day. Everything spoke directly into my life and i'm sure most people feel the same.
Thanks for the day and I hope it is the first of many in Scotland!
P.s Al I bought your CD... Love it and I don't want my money back, lol

27Apr08I could only get to the first session, thought it was excellent and heard from others about lots of good stuff that went on during the rest of the day. I did have one reservation, which was because my ministry is the use of visuals in worship so I got very restless starring at the white text on black background - do you ever use visuals ( stills or video ) in worship?
Also, thought folk might appreciate this warning about Inappropriate clothing that was a life lesson for me from this event...

Would be fantastic to see this in Scotland again!

27Apr08Al & Tim,
Many thanks for a wonderful day in Glasgow!
Scotland has been blighted for many years with religious division and bigotry and it was a living witness to what you guys are doing at Worship Central that I as a Charismatic Roman Catholic (!) could enjoy worship in the presence of God in unity with my brothers and sisters of many and varied denominations and churches. May God continue to bless the work you do and my prayer is that the groups represented in Glasgow will continue to seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit and we can continue to worship and grow together for the glory of His Holy Name. Peace in the Risen Christ!

27Apr08Dear Tim, Al, and everyone in the team,
I appreciated the time given for us to worship, for refreshment and receiving from God. Thank you for running this in Scotland. I can see how much went into the organisation of this event.
The workshops covered a good balance theology, practical skills and other worship issues. Don't know how much we can implement in our church where everyone works hard during the week in their jobs and seem to have very little time to devote to acheiving excellence in worship bands, but it was good to be challenged to think about it.
Keep on keeping on with all that you're doing, you inspire us all!!

28Apr08I just wanted to post a note saying thank you so much to all involved yesterday! Especially the behind the scenes people who did such a good job of geting everyone lunch etc!! Also I really felt i met with God in a way that i haven't in such a long time and i truely am grateful for that.
Thank you all!!
