I just became a Dad for the first time.

I'm staring down at a little boy called Kester. He's absolutely gorgeous and has totally blown my guessing game God-As-"Father"-theology right out of the water.

I'm now beginning to get just how God feels about me: when I sing, Kester goes quiet as a mouse, when he's crying and I hold him to my heart, he curls up and listens, totally content.

I'm a man undone.

I was a dad for the 3rd time on the 29th July so I know how you feel.

It is mind blowing.....

Congratulations!

My wife & I had our first child just seven weeks ago, and I've had the same revelations — every thought of 'God-the-Father' is being completely revisited. It just blows me away to think that if I love my child THIS much, how much greater and incomprehensible God's love for us must be.
