Calling All Songwriters - 18 Nov
Join us for our next event on Saturday 18 November at HTB. This day is going to be awesome...
The day starts at 11am (doors open 10am) with a main morning celebration, with extended worship, teaching and ministry, hosted by Tim Hughes and myself.
Then from 1.30pm join us for a special SONGWRITERS LUNCH in the LIVE LOUNGE. All you'll need to do is bring yourself, a sandwich and some questions and we'll put them to our expert panel.
Then for the rest of the afternoon choose from the following training workshops:
Encounter - The Cross - we're thrilled to be able to announce that the good Rev'd Dr Graham Tomlin will be back by popular demand to take us deeper into understanding the Cross of Christ and the impact this has on our lives and our worship. This will be an inspiring bit of teaching, not to to be missed. Great fuel for the songwriter.
Equip - Bass Workshop - led by the legendary Les Moir, head of Survivor Records, who over the years has been at the heart of the British worship scene, working as a producer and bass player with Matt Redman, Tim Hughes and many more. This will be a very practical session aimed at developing the skills of bass players, but will also be helpful to the wider worship team to understand the role of the bass in worship.
Empower - Songwriting Workshop - we're going to be bringing you some great practical training on songwriting. Experience the full force of the wisdom of Hughes and other songwriting experts. I'll be there as well to make them look extra good. We'll be delving into the nitty gritty of crafting good worship songs, the creative process, how to introduce your songs to the church and loads more.
Then the main evening celebration starts at 6.30pm (doors at 6pm) with more extended times of worship, teaching and ministry, with the evening ending at 8.30pm, so you can get home in time for an early-ish night!
We'd really encourage you to get your tickets online now as our last day sold out before the doors opened. We've already had quite a few bookings for the 18 November. Tickets are currently £8 for a limited time (until 30 days before the event).
