ASIA DAY FIVE
We're in Singapore, catching up with our families.
We flew out to Singapore last Thursday, and left our families (my wife Liv and son Kester, Tim's wife Rachel and daughter Phoebe) in Singapore while we headed to Manila for the weekend. It would have been a bit too much to fly all together backways and forwards, so the guys have been adjusting in preparation for the week of events here.
It was SO good to see them - Manila felt like an age, even though it was a few days. We're all staying together, so it's Baby Central.
Things are really busy here, with everyone one preparing for the week's events, but we tried to keep the schedule clear and have a bit of a day off together. Tim and I had one meeting at lunchtime, otherwise we hung out with out families and got some rest, wandering around Singapore. It's a great place: beautifully clean, great food, and very hot (like 35c and humid).
Tomorrow we kick off a two day Alpha Conference, followed by some really exciting events before we leave on Sunday night. It's going to be an awesome week.

07Apr08Hey Al! (or uncle Al? haha.)
That is the reason why i'm STILL trying to complete ALL my homework by today (it's actually 11.06pm now) - so that I can attend the worship sessions at night with no worries! :)
I am stoked to see God start something in us. :)
...and the weather in Spore is kinda freaky these days, so bring an umbrella EVERYWHERE! :)
God bless.
