Gorgeous version. Looking forward to playing it!

Great new addition to this classic song! I'm gonna try and do it at our Thanksgiving Eve worship service. Thanks for sharing!

Great addition to the song I like it a lot. Also I really like the octive transition near the end. Really good song - Well done!

A very nice rendition of a classic hymn.

Does the verse remind anyone else of Van Diemens Land by U2? I keep wanting to mix in a little "Hold me now, Hold me now"

Absolutely adore your version of this song, Tim. Your voice suits it to perfection.
Beautiful! xxxx

What an awesome hymn, done in fantastic fashion again!
Brilliant!
Keep them coming please!!!!

Great version Tim - God works in mysterious ways - previously we've linked When I Survey into the bridge from 'Once Again' (e.g. 'Thank You for the cross, thank You for the cross, thank You for the cross my friend'...and sometimes the chorus following that) and the tag here is vaguely similar!

I find often God puts similar themes into different people and different areas all over the world - in fact there are 3 new songs all names 'Nothing is Impossible' in circulation at the minute! (Al, Vicki Beeching and Jai Lawley (check out Ikon-org.co.uk).

Really great version of When I Survey! Although unfortunately it didn't end up being used, it was on the list for a student service we had on Saturday. We were playing around with the arrangement and realised that the verses from "In Christ Alone" fit PERFECTLY into Tim's arrangement.

We used the third verse "There in the ground..." with the first four lines being one verse and the second four lines as another verse (with the octave jump). So the structure was:

When I Survey v1
When I Survey v2
In Christ Alone ("There in the ground...")
In Christ Alone ("And as He stands in Victory...") - Octave jump
Bridge x2
When I survery v3 x2 (once low and once with octave jump)
Bridge x 2

Sorry for the long post but the lyrics for the "In Christ Alone" verse 3 fit REALLY well with When I Survery so thought others may like to use it as well!

This song was amazing at the last Worship Central with the organ! We did it at church yesterday and it worked really well with the new refrain and octave jump. Thanks for all you guys are doing!

The tag is great and works really well, especially for linking into a more modern chorus (lost in wonder, etc) :)

Girls, if you are transposing this down the obligatory 3 semitones - beware! The vast majority of the congregation won't be able to sing with you. We ended up with it in G and missing the octave jump and its much more accessible for everyone that way..
