Actually, one of the things i love about this song is the slightly different form - the chorus comes out of nowhere, breaking the usual 8 bar phrase that usually goes on in a lot of songs. I think it also feels like it's more urgent to "Join in Heaven's songs". I think that we need to step outside the box more in terms of form, chords, arrangement; in order to keep things fresh. Not necessarily just for complication's sake, but because the song and subject call for it. More Tim, More!

What a truth-filled song! Not entirely different from 'Happy Day'. I'm assuming that you'll record this with a full band eventually Tim? I think that'll add to the build up to the chorus. The line 'sing above the storms of life' is very powerful and inspiring. Catchy aswell. Good work Tim. Only problem is now that you've written so many songs, how do you remember all the chords? :-) Keep writing! Any more stuff coming soon?

This is brilliant Tim. This song captures the best of your best - with traces of the infectious, dance-inducing 'Joy is in this Place' and (as Daniel notes) the exuberance of 'Happy Day' all bound together by the resolute faithfulness of 'When the Tears Fall.' Musically, the progression is wonderful and it slides into a beautifully creative build that practically flings us heavenward. Indeed - imagine the privilege of joining with the angels in worship to Him!
The acoustic version is fantastic - I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with the full band interpretation.

Very simple idea but so effective. I love the chorus and the Jeeeeessuusss Saaavvveess bit!
I recommended this website to one of the worship-enthused young people in the youth group I've been working in in Germany, and the next time I saw him he got out the guitar and started singing this song, really excited about all the great songs on worship central. International, yeah!
I think it's a great song too for the record! Hope and salvation are what the world does need to hear about :)
