Great song. We all need to cling to the cross. We can't think it's what we talk about when becoming Christians; it's something that should shape our lives everyday.
Thanks for such an amazing song. I'd like to share this amazing story with you. Our church's worship leader (Nate, 25 yrs olds, married for 14 months) took a Sunday off so that he, his wife, brothers and his wife could drive 12 hours to sing at a friends wedding. Our band was covering that Sundays service and was planning on singing 'Clinging to the Cross' as a special number/new song. On the Friday, during the long drive, a semi truck hit thier car, Nate was killed instantly. The entire service was changed for that Sunday to remember Nate, however, this song was still incredibly applicable, and a great reminder that through grief and pain, we need Jesus more than ever. This song has forever been changed for me, the lyrics are no longer just words, but a life experience and reminder of Gods faithfulness through pain.
I love this song. It reminds us that Jesus is always with us, especially when we are at our weakest and that He is the only way so we need to cling to the cross and follow Him.
Worship Central's first ever UK Tour visited 9 cities across the UK, with over 8,000 worship leaders, musicians and worshippers gathering for the events.

07Feb08Another brilliant song with good lyrics.
Is the women's part on Tim's CD documented?
I know some of us women would find it useful, finding the normal tune a little high in the chorus.
I'd really like to know.
